“What is the Message?”
As you can imagine, with a vessel name Coastal Messenger we are sometimes asked, “What is the message?” It is simply this, that Jesus Christ, the son of God, died to forgive our sins, was buried and was raised from the dead. Jesus made possible the relationship with God we are designed to have.
Gospel literally means “good news” and the good news is in Jesus Christ , hence the earliest accounts of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection are called The Gospels.

We discovered The Bible Project through one of the free classes on Jonah. This was on a voyage when we saw hundreds of Humpback Whales… needless to say it became a crew joke. Joking aside, The Bible Project it a great resource for going deeper in God’s Word. We especially like the short videos with whiteboard-illustrated summaries of each Bible book.
